How can I read my own tarot cards?

How can I read my own tarot cards?
I’m new to it and as far from good as you can get. How can I read my own cards if it
s to only one question?? Do I still need to use the past present future thing or just one card
??

Buy a good book and study, study, study. My favorite is “The Kabbalistic Tarot” by Robert Wang.

One card doesn’t say much. I’d use the Celtic Cross layout, but it is a matter of taste.

If you believe that crap… there should be an instruction booklet that comes with the deck.

Can someone explain my tarot card reading for me?
The first card was Queen of Pentacles, the second card was Six of Pentacles, and the third card with the Six of Wands.

Suggestion by Max Cruise
Here is your explanation.
You shuffled the cards.
The first three cards dealt were on top of the deck.
Beyond that, there is no meaning.
None what so ever.
Tarot cards are bogus.
Reading tarot cards is fakery and a scam.
Cards randomly dealt cannot “tell” you anything.

What deck was used (card meanings vary depending on the deck you used), what was the spread used (each position means something), and what was the phrasing of the question?

It’s not an easy thing to interpret without the basic information being supplied.

Suggestion by Mackenzie
Depends on the spread you used and the purpose of each card placement.

It means BALANCE and SHARING :) I dont know what’s the meaning of this but my pychic gave it’s meaning. If you want you can also try and ask her. She’s helped me a lot! You can see my source below

I take it you shuffled the cards and all that stuff and these three cards came up. It doesn’t really matter what layout you are doing, but you said 1st, 2nd and 3rd. So here is what they mean, A generous, rich relative or close friend will be giving you something as gifts or presents of what seems to be gratitude or thanks for something, but you can not depend on these things, you are being bought and betrayed. I know this may sound a little vague, but what I do is leave the cards in question, reshuffle and lay out a rainbow or circle of truth by the cards in question. Hope this helps you out, so it doesn’t matter what deck you are using or your layout, its what cards are next to each other, by themselves they mean one thing, next to another they mean something else.

Go down to your local bookstore and get a book on Tarot card interpretation. A. E. Waite’s book is a classic, though it’s pretty aged now and hard to follow.

And, remember, just because there isn’t anything mystical about the Tarot doesn’t mean it can’t be meaningful to you and help you make decisions.

No you do not need to use past present future. Google tarot spreads, there are many. One of the things I like to do is draw just one card each morning and meditate on what that card is telling me I need to think about or consider that day. If you are a believer in a Divine you can draw that card after asking you Deity to guide what card you draw and reveal to you what He/She/They/It wants you to get from that card. I do not feel using the cards this way is incompatible with Christianity since God is guiding my hand to choose a certain card and He is revealing to me in that way what he wants me to work on that day. I know a lot of Christians will disagree and I myself was taught that the cards are evil, but the cards are just pieces of cardboard, it is the intent with which we use them that matters.

Lay down cards, turn some of them over, and make sh’it up. Its a lot more convincing with two people.

As you know, there are layouts/spreads/methods and general ways of reading Tarot. You Tube has a ton of videos on the subject. However, you COULD use a one card technique and treat them like Oracle cards if you wish. It’s divination at the end of the day, and you use what you feel works best for you. You don’t necessarily have to use methods described by others. Experiment.
